GREAT START TO 2017
What a great start to the second half of the 2016/2017 season. Some wonderful performances have been registered by all age groups and a club record too for Zoe (U8Girls).
Today also saw a veteran athlete run the 400m with the U14-17’s. Under 11’s age Manager, Geoff Davidson, take on a combined field of runners and showed that, despite a few years on the side lines, his skill as a mid distance athlete is still impressive. Well done Geoff!

26 November: Redback Gift
This week we get back to some of our club specific events. the Redback Gift is a fun 100m handicap race for all ages. This week, all the athletes try to run their best times to get a handicap for the race. the fastest runners in each age group then selected to run in one final – which is a very close finish. This week, we return to Chapman for what looks like a warm day of the normal schedule. Please remember to Slip, Slop, Slap as a few of us have remembered that sunburn is just around the corner. Also remember to bring a water bottle, and fill up at the water station near the canteen.
